I am part of a Theological Thinktank in CA. We call ourselves the Thinklings after the group to which CS Lewis and Tolkien belonged in Oxford, The Inklings (We're not quite as bright as they were, so it would have been presumptuous to steal the name outright). We meet twice per year. Everyone who attends contributes something: most participants write and present a paper.
The subject question this time: "What does it mean to say "Jesus is Lord' in the context of extreme pluralism?"
I wrote a paper entitled 'Jesus as the victor in the battle between good and evil.' It is actually a story about a conversation I had some time ago. You can download it here in pdf form.
Ro, I just read your paper and simply loved it. I strongly recognize the questions and emotions of the girl you talked to, and this tension between the "waiting for heaven"-gospel and the holistic picture you draw. I loved the line "like any artist, God strongly identifies himself with his artwork".
It's the kind of theology I love: narrative, missional and holistic. Thanks for sharing!

Good story Rogier!
Thanks for putting to paper things I somehow know/feel, but wasn't able to put in words.
