AVATAR - A happy ending to the story of colonization?

Last night we went to see 'Avatar' as a family. It was the end of the Christmas break and as a family we have worked hard on redecorating the rooms the boys have: Joel now has a room for himself, while Joshua and Judah share a room that is more fit for teenagers. We have all put a bunch of time and energy in, so of to the movies we went.

And wow - what a movie it was. James Cameron, who also produced Titanic, has done it again: spared no expense to make a blockbuster of a movie. Apparently this movie cost $531 million dollars to make - but already it has grossed over a billion - like Titanic setting another record in both cost and income. And I am not surprised the movie is doing so well: the story is warm, the action intense, the 3D amazing: it's a fairy tale, love-story, Sci-Fi espionage thriller all woven into one.
